ADDITIVES D200

Tough Stuff D200 is a microfine manufactured high tensile polyurethane fiber used as a general thickener for the Tough Stuff urethanes.

RECOMMENDED USES
  • Tough Stuff D200 can be used to thicken urethanes into sprayable or brushable mastics. Thicker materials allow for fabrication of cants or filling around irregular surfaces.
  • Tough Stuff D200 can be added to:

    AC5000
    SL6000
    UR1600
    UR1700
    UR1800
    UR2550
    UR2650
    UR2750

  • Excellent for flashing details, metal roof seams, inside and outside flashing details, round stacks, pipe legs, pitch pots, conduit pipes, expansion joints, etc.

PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS
Melting Point: 248°F - 271°F (120°C - 133°C)
Specific Gravity: .0915 - .0965
Flash Point: 665°F (352°C)
pH: 1.5 - 7.0
Appearance: Fluffy fiber
SHELF LIFE: Indefinite
CLEANUP: Sweep or vacuum
Color: White
Storage: Keep material dry
  • D200 allows you to greatly increase viscosity and filling ability of the coating at an economical price.
  • The product allows a higher viscosity and excellent vertical hold for a variety of applications.
  • The unique nature of D200’s fiber configuration allows excellent melding to the urethane without allowing slipping.
  • Adding D200 also creates a smooth easy to apply material.
  • Retains elastic properties; adds tensile strength
  • Inorganic; will not rot
  • Easily mixed in with hand tools at a ratio of 20% - 50%
  • Adding D200 to the urethane will shorten pot life. Do not add more than one hour in advance.
