PROJECT:
OVER 1 MILLION SQUARE FEET OF ASBESTOS PANEL ROOFS ON A UNIVERSITY CAMPUS

SUBSTRATE:
ASBESTOS PANEL ROOF

DESCRIPTION:
Asbestos panels on multiple buildings faced expensive abatement or complete encapsulation. Tough Stuff urethane roof coatings are ideally suited for this project. The panels were power washed. After drying, the roof system was primed with Tough Stuff PR3500 – 2 part epoxy at a rate of 1.0 gallon per 100 square feet. The panels were then detailed with Tough Stuff UR1700 at approximately 20 - 24 mils.

PROJECT:
ACADEMIC BUILDING ROOF

SUBSTRATE:
BUR ROOF

(Completed roof after being seamed with urethane and polyester.)

DESCRIPTION:

This BUR roof was repaired using a basecoat of Tough Stuff UR2650 two  component urethane set in FA200 liner and top coated with two coats Tough Stuff UR1700 white at 1.5 gallons per 100 square feet.

SUBSTRATE:
EPDM ROOF

DESCRIPTION:

The aging EPDM system had the seams lined with Tough Stuff UR1700 urethane and FA200 polyester liner. Next, the entire roof was coated with UR2650 base coat at 1.5 gallons/100 square feet and 2 coats of UR1700 at 1.25 gallons/100 square feet/coat. The system is completely encapsulated for a 10 year warranty.

BALLASTED EPDM


DESCRIPTION:

The ballasted EPDM roof was cleaned after the stone was removed. The seams were lined with Tough Stuff UR1800 and FA200 fabric. The entire roof was then coated with two coats of UR1800 at 1.25 gallons per 100 square feet per coat.

This system carries a 10-year warranty.

DESCRIPTION:

The roof was power washed prior to the basecoat and all details were handled with the Tough Stuff urethane mastic. The AC5600 base coat was installed at the rate of one (1) gallon per 100 square feet. Top coat of AC5000 urethane acrylic at 2.5 gallons per 100 square feet in two coats. This roof system carries a ten (10) year warranty.

PROJECT:
FIBERGLASS DOME HOUSE USING TOUGH STUFF URETHANE COATINGS


SUBSTRATE:
FIBERGLASS WITH EXTERIOR EXPOSURE


DESCRIPTION:

Fiberglass dome home coated with Tough Stuff UR1700 white. This coating stops the degregation of the fiberglass and carries a 10 year warranty for the owner’s peace of mind. All joints and flashings are reinforced with Tough Stuff SF200 Polyester Fabric set into the UR1700 urethane. Two coats of UR1700 at a rate of 1.5 gallons per coat finish the project.

DESCRIPTION:
Metal roof coated with Tough Stuff UR1700 white. This roof carries a ten (10) year warranty. All the flashings, fasteners, and joints were detailed with the UR1700 urethane mastic prior to the coating process of two coats< of UR1700 white urethane at 2.5 gallons/100 square feet.

SUBSTRATE:

DESCRIPTION:

This standing seam metal roof was detailed to stop leaks and will be finished when the school has funds to continue. All rust areas were primed with Tough Stuff PR3400 rust converter at 200 square feet / gallon. Seams and fasteners were then treated with UR1700 mastic. The gutter was also primed and coated with three coats of UR1700. The entire roof is now watertight. A protective coating will be added when funding allows. The seams carry a five (5) year warranty.

Full urethane Tough Stuff system over modified roof. BASE COAT — two component UR2650 urethane at 3 gallons per 100 square feet set into FA240 liner.

DESCRIPTION:

Unreinforced Trocal was approaching twelve years old with some failures. The roof was coated with Tough Stuff AC5600 Base with FA240 liner integrated into the basecoat at 2.5 gallons per 100 square feet. Mid coat gray SL6000 at 1.5 gallons per 100 square feet and finish coat white SL6000 at 1.5 gallons per 100 square feet. This system now carries a 10 year warranty.

OFFICE BUILDING WITH A 20 YEAR LEAKPROOF WARRANTY USING LIFETIME™ WATERPROOFING SYSTEM

DESCRIPTION:

This office building is being coated with Lifetime™ Regular at a rate of 65 square feet (approximately 6 square meters) per gallon. Prior to application of the waterproofing, the building was power washed and all the tuck pointing and caulking had been completed. After completion the building will carry a 20 year warranty against leakage.

Lifetime is a patented RTV silicone rubber product.

SENIOR HEALTH CARE CENTER WATERPROOFED WITH LIFETIME™ PLUS

DESCRIPTION:

This Hospital Senior Health Building is coated with Lifetime Waterproofing system. The building was power washed, some tuck pointing was done and all control joints were recaulked. Lifetime Plus was installed to the block surface at the rate of 100 square feet per gallon. A twenty (20) year warranty can be issued for this system.

PROJECT:
LOG GOLF COURSE CLUBHOUSE STAINED WITH TOUGH STUFF AND WATERPROOFED WITH LIFETIME™


SUBSTRATE:
EXTERIOR LOGS


DESCRIPTION:

This log exterior golf clubhouse was stained with Tough Stuff Dark Cedar wood stain and followed with a finish coat of Lifetime™ Waterproofing. The building was power washed and allowed to dry completely prior to application. The wood stain was applied in two coats. The first coat at 100 square feet per gallon and the second coat at 120 square feet per gallon. Lifetime™ Waterproofing was used as a final sealer coat at a rate of 100 - 125 square feet per gallon. Actual coverage for Lifetime is dependant on the porosity of the wood.

A ten (10) year waterproof warranty can be issued for this system.
